Julie Woosey

Julie is the Chief People Officer at The Growth Company, where she leads our HR, Payroll and Health & Safety team, which is part of the Corporate Services division.

Having worked in HR for nearly 30 years, Julie joined GC from the University of Salford, where she spent 17 years in various roles, but most recently as Deputy Chief People Officer – she also has a background in retail, contact centres and business process outsourcing.

She has led many strategic and operational developments in HR to support the success of business through people, and is particularly passionate about enabling others to achieve their potential.

A CIPD national award winner for her work on driving evidence-based decision making through people analytics, Julie is keen to embrace new technology and increase digitisation across the people portfolio.
