The Growth Company was established over 35 years ago in Greater Manchester, a region renowned for its ambition, resilience, and adaptability.
Over the last three years alone, we have supported more than 113,000 businesses to implement improvements, created, safeguarded or filled almost 78,000 employment opportunities, helped over 136,000 people to positively progress through our employment and skills services, and supported more than 9,000 individuals and businesses to accelerate action against climate change.
Our new 3-year Corporate Plan brings together our purpose, values and priorities into one clear plan, showing how we deliver positive impact for people, businesses and communities across Greater Manchester and the UK.
The plan is shaped by insight from across our organisation and informed by the needs of the places and people we serve. It provides a clear, shared direction and explains how our services and partnerships contribute to inclusive, sustainable growth.

Over the last three years, we have:
- helped 118,142 businesses improve and grow
- enabled 80,196 employment opportunities
- supported 131,247 people make positive progress in their lives and careers.
